Skin Irritation
Skin irritation in the form of redness, swelling or itching may occur at the site where you wear the Nicoderm CQ patch. Trimming the area of hair, cleaning the skin well before adhering the patch or changing to a new site may reduce these side effects.
Stomach Upset
New users of Nicoderm smoking cessation products may experience mild side effects such as nausea and vomiting. Once your body gets used to the medication levels, you are likely to feel better.
Weakness
Weakness, dizziness and light-headedness are side effects that may indicate you have taken too large a dose of nicotine.
Tachycardia
A fast heartbeat, called tachycardia, may occur if you have overdosed on the product. Quit using the patch and get medical attention if you experience this side effect.
Anxiety
