The Results Of Black & Mild Cigars

Smoking Black and Milds negatively affect your health.

Smoking Black and Mild cigars poses the same health risks to humans as cigarettes. Whether you inhale the smoke of a Black and Mild not, you are taking thousands of poisonous chemicals into your body. According to the SmokeFree website, these small cigars are just as addictive as cigarettes. They also lead to diseases of the mouth, throat and lungs, just as cigarettes do.

Bronchitis

Bronchitis occurs when the lungs' airways become inflamed. Coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath and difficulty breathing are all symptoms of this disease. Bronchitis can be mild or severe, and sufferers' symptoms are eased with medication. Chronic conditions occur when symptoms are present and exposure to cigar smoke continues. Chronic bronchitis sufferers cough up mucus frequently and are at risk of developing pneumonia.

Nicotine Addiction

Nicotine is present in Black and Mild cigars, and this addictive chemical narrows blood vessels, causing your heart to work harder. Even if you do not inhale the smoke of a Black and Mild cigar, nicotine will be absorbed into your body through the lining of your mouth. Just as with cigarettes, you can become a nicotine addict by smoking Black and Mild cigars, and those who quit will experience nicotine withdrawal.

Developing Emphysema

If you smoke cigars you may develop emphysema, which causes your lungs' air sacs to enlarge and burst. This lung damage makes expelling air from your lungs difficult. Carbon dioxide builds up inside of your body and slowly poisons you. Symptoms of emphysema include shortness of breath and rapid heart beat. Your lungs will work hard continuously to combat this illness, so the symptoms are present when you are awake and while you are resting.

Lung Cancer

A lung cancer diagnosis means that you have cancerous cells, lumps, tumors or masses in your lungs or respiratory system. These cells grow at a rapid pace and cause chest pains, recurring lung infections, shortness of breath, extreme wheezing and body swelling. As tumors in and around the lungs grow, a consistent cough may develop. Lung cancer is caused by smoking cigarettes and cigars. Inhaling second- hand cigarette and cigar smoke can also leads to lung cancer.
