Symptoms of side effects include a lack of sexual desire, headache which can be mild or can be as strong as a migraine, trouble sleeping, dizziness, increased sweating or an itchy rash.


Severe Effects


Get immediate medical attention if you believe you are experiencing a severe reaction to Wellbutrin. Severe side effects of Wellbutrin can be fatal, so it is very important that you seek emergency treatment. Side effects which are considered severe include skin rash (hives), difficulty breathing, and facial swelling (which includes swelling of the lips or tongue as well as throat). Wellbutrin is also associated with seizure, blistering of the skin, mood swings, panic attacks, feeling feverish, having hallucinations or extreme confusion. Get medical help immediately if you experience any of these side effects as a result of Wellbutrin.


Interaction


Certain medical conditions or medications may cause an interaction with Wellbutrin which can lengthen the duration of side effects, or cause them to become more severe. Inform your doctor about your full medical history before taking Wellbutrin. Medicines tjat may cause an interaction with Wellbutrin include other types of antidepressant medications, as well as cancer treatments, medicines for high blood pressure or heart conditions, antihistimines, asthma treatments, birth control or diet pills, insulin, narcotics, steroids (Prednisone), medications for the bladder or kidney and medication for motion sickness.


Avoid


Wellbutrin may affect your ability to make clear decisions or impair your judgment. Do not drink alcohol while taking Wellbutrin, as alcohol can further worsen your condition. Be careful operating a motor vehicle or using any machinery while taking Wellbutrin.
