1. Dark greens helps your body to boost collagen production.


Eat dark greens such as spinach and kale. Dark leafy greens are rich in lutein and vitamin C, which help your body produce collagen. Not only will a serving a day of greens help your skin, but these vegetables are packed full of nutrients that will contribute to your body's overall health.


2. Soy products help protect your skin's collagen.


Consume at least one soy product a day. Soy contains genistein, an isoflavone which helps to eliminate enzymes that break down collagen fibers. All forms of soy, including soy milk, tofu, and soy-based imitation meat products, contain genistein.


3. Drink at least one cup of tea daily. Tea, especially green tea, is full of antioxidants called flavanoids. These antioxidants neutralize naturally occuring free radicals in your body that can break down cells and collagen fibers and even cause cancer.


4. Get a laser skin resurfacing treatment performed by a licensed dermatologist. Laser skin resurfacing works by burning the top layer of skin called the epidermis. This damage signals the skin to repair itself by creating a new layer of skin cells and increasing the production of collagen fibers.
